Delivery Policy

At The Original Amish Furniture Warehouse, we strive to ensure that our customers receive their orders promptly and in impeccable condition. To maintain the efficiency of our delivery process and to cover the costs associated with delivery services, we have implemented the following policy regarding furniture rejection upon delivery:

 

Delivery Fee: A delivery fee is charged for the transportation and handling of furniture items from The Original Amish Furniture Warehouse to your specified delivery address. This fee is calculated based on distance.

Current Rates:

Schedule 1 (0 - 25 Miles) - $100.00

Schedule 2 (26 - 50 Miles) - $150.00

Schedule 3 (51 - 75 Miles) - $200.00

Schedule 4 (76 - 100 Miles) - $250.00

Schedule 5 (101 - 150 Miles) - $350.00

Schedule 6 (151 - 200 Miles) - $500.00

Right to Recover Fees: In the event that the delivered furniture is rejected upon delivery for reasons not attributable toThe Original Amish Furniture Warehouse (such as incorrect item ordered, change of mind, refusal to accept the delivery, etc.), we reserve the right to recover the incurred delivery fees. It is highly recommended that the customer inspect the furniture prior to delivery.

 

Notification and Collection: If a furniture item is rejected upon delivery, our delivery team will notify the customer and initiate the collection process. The customer will be informed of the applicable charges for the attempted delivery.

 

Charges for Repeated Delivery Attempts: Should the customer request a subsequent delivery attempt after the initial rejection, additional delivery fees may apply. These fees will be communicated to the customer before the re-delivery is scheduled.

 

Refund Policy: If the furniture is rejected due to damage or defects that are the responsibility of The Original Amish Furniture Warehouse, a portion or all the delivery fees will be refunded depending on what is delivered and accepted. However, if the rejection is due to reasons beyond our control, such as customer preference or refusal to accept the delivery, the delivery fees will not be refunded. It is highly recommended that the customer inspect the furniture prior to delivery.

 

Exceptions: This policy does not apply in cases where the furniture is rejected due to reasons such as damage during transit, incorrect item delivered, or any other fault on the part of The Original Amish Furniture Warehouse. In such cases, the delivery fees will be waived, and appropriate actions will be taken to rectify the situation.

 

By placing an order with The Original Amish Furniture Warehouse, customers acknowledge and accept the terms outlined in this delivery policy.
